Décors Barbares Bedroom by Nathalie Farman-Farma at Casa Cabana
This fragment of an Ottoman textile known as "Kemha", is woven in silk on a red satin ground, and probably formed a part of a garment. The design consists in split-leaf arabesques linked by çintamani, forming a lattice that encloses a golden pomegranate from which emerges tulips.
