Why we love it
This Antoinette Poisson ceramic can be used as a shallow bowl or soup plate. Entirely made in their workshops in the courtyard of 12 rue Saint-Sabin in Paris, the stoneware pieces cast by ceramists, inspired by old shapes are hand painted by the domino makers with patterns from their collection of papers, then fired on square. Each piece is the result of manual work, therefore irregularities in form and painting may appear: a testament to its artisanal nature.
