This ceramic storage pot has a unique, organic surface and mustard drip glaze, which has eroded beautifully over time. Originally used for preserving foods such as anchovies, sardines or olives in olive oil, this glazed vessel dates back to early 1900s.

Remove loose dirt with a soft bristle brush; a cloth may snag on fragile surfaces. Washing with tap water is acceptable, but distilled or de-ionized water is preferable. Water temperature should be lukewarm or cooler.
