My Favorite Place to Stay: Palazzo Experimental

In the Zattere neighbourhood. The service is friendly, the staff are cool — no one is from Venice actually, and that’s a good thing — and the atmosphere is international. The bar stays open till late and I like that it allows you a view of the passersby in front of the hotel.

My Favourite Restaurant: Vini da Arturo, Calle degli Assassini

A tiny restaurant with a familiar atmosphere and good food. It’s one of the few places in Venice that doesn’t serve fish, only vegetables and meat: the most iconic dish is the Braciola All’arturo — a vinegar-soaked fried pork chop. I’ve been eating there since I was a child, as it was my mother’s favorite, too. Ernesto (the founder) and Hani (owner) are like family. Now, with Laguna~B, we’re celebrating Da Arturo with a series of editorial publications, each dedicated to one staple in the menu.

My Favourite Cafe or Coffee Shop: Caffe Rosso

I love Caffe Rosso, in Santa Margherita square. It’s near Laguna~B’s headquarters and is perfect for a quick breakfast or a morning break.

My Favorite Cozy Bar: Chioschetto alle zattere

I like the ‘Chioschetto alle zattere', an unassuming kiosk with just a dozen seats overlooking the Giudecca canal, always bathed in sunlight. The Zattere promenade is one of my favorite areas in town.

My Favorite Museum: Gallerie dell'Accademia

The look is almost decadent and I love that. Plus, despite the art, I think it’s underrated by many because you actually never find many visitors there. It’s calm.

My Favorite 'Insider Tip': San Piero in Volta

My suggestion would be to go to San Piero in Volta, in the Pellestrina island. It’s quiet and beautiful, far from the tourist routes. There you should eat at da Nane, and enjoy looking at the fishing boats nearby.

My Favorite Shop: Spazio

Obviously Laguna~B's showroom, Spazio. We opened it in 2023, taking over the former glass antique shop where my mother’s first Goto glasses were exhibited and sold in the 90s. It’s just around the corner from our headquarters in Palazzo Brandolini and also incorporates a curated library with volumes available for anyone to borrow.

My Favorite Thing To Do: Kite-surfing in the lagoon

I love kite-surfing at sunset in the lagoon. I take the boat to the Lido, only a few minutes away from the office, and spend a couple hours there enjoying the sunset.
