Jimmy Choo is the talk of New York this Fashion Week, launching a campaign with Chloë Sevigny and introducing a flagship boutique on Madison Avenue.
The flurry of events began with a cocktail party welcoming the city's international bright young things to the brand's beautifully-curated shopping space, which is set off by vintage furniture and design accents by Luigi Pellegrin, Antonio Citterio and Móveis Cimo.
The artful evening was hosted by Jimmy Choo’s effervescent Creative Director, Sandra Choi, and Cabana's Creative Editorial Director, Sophie Goodwin, who organised the event with Chiara di Carcaci, co-founder of the pair's London-based creative agency, Tiger’s Eye.
Isabella Massenet held court, on the decks in new Choos, alongside guests including Ayesha Shand, Bella Guinness, Alessia Fendi and Margot Hauer-King. Dirty martinis and cosmopolitans were served with bite-sized lobster rolls and steak tartares, as guests enjoyed the first-look of Jimmy Choo's new Spring 2025 collection: quirky in feel, but sophisticated in execution, the elegant shoes and bags featured lots of leopard print.
Sabine Getty, Jimmy Choo CEO Hannah Colman, and Tatiana Hambro continued the uptown party at Caviar Kaspia, their residence at The Mark Hotel. Their legendary menu included: smoked salmon and blinis followed by baked potato topped with caviar, and a delicious dessert masquerading as more caviar: a chocolate pearl tart served in a caviar pot.
Bottles of Tito's vodka were distributed down the table: all an excellent pre-party for the next night of revelry downtown at Jean’s, Lafayette Street, headlined by the heady mix of Patti Smith, Chloë Sevigny, Sandra Choi and Martha Stewart.
