A Weekend In Greece features 21 travel guides from Athens to the Aegean islands.
London’s Greek and Greece Obsessed community joined Cabana at Pavilion Press in Chelsea last week to mark the official launch of the magazine’s newest travel guide.
Beautifully bound with a classic blue and white marbled cover, A Weekend In Greece features 21 travel guides from Athens to the Aegean islands, curated by the editors of Cabana and written by Greece-based experts and Big Cabana Family insiders.
Hosts Martina Mondadori, Maya Martinou and Laura de Gunzburg welcomed guests to Cabana’s takeover of Pavilion Press – a specialist magazine retailer and stylish coffee spot on Chelsea’s beloved Pavilion Road – which was full to bursting as guests gathered for a Greek breakfast while swapping travel tales and summer plans.
The smart wooden shelves of the modern newsagent-café were solely stocked with the travel guide as waiters circulated with coffee cups wrapped in the blue marbled print.
Leonora Hamill and Gianluca Longo took turns to mind the baby son of cultural adviser Laura de Gunzburg and Gabriel Chipperfield, co-founder of Wendover, the design-led firm behind Pavilion Press, while their adorable daughter eyed platters of Greek pastries.
Greece insiders, including Miguel Flores-Vianna and Lydia Zacharis, discussed their favourite Greek islands as Serena Hood, Lydia Forte, Celia Weinstock and Fin Fellowes leafed through the guide – an essential read for anyone planning a Greek summer.
A Weekend in Greece is the latest in Cabana's series of travel guides, which include city guides, produced in partnership with Ralph Lauren, and destination travel guides based on Cabana's popular online series, A Weekend in. Discover more from Cabana Travel.
