Arcadian Summer
Celebrating Cabana for Over The Moon, a new tabletop collection inspired by romantic 18th-century chintzes and the pleasure of gathering.

Martina Mondadori & Alexandra Macon
It began over coffee at Sorelle in Charleston, where Over The Moon founder Alexandra Macon and Cabana founder and Editor-in-Chief Martina Mondadori first discussed the idea of creating a tabletop collection together. The result is Cabana for Over The Moon, a collection shaped by a shared love of pattern, craftsmanship and the pleasure of gathering around a beautiful table.
At its heart is Arcadian Floral, a romantic botanical print inspired by the fanciful chintzes of the 18th century, bringing together flowers that would rarely be found growing side by side. The print runs throughout the collection, alongside embroidered linens and hand-painted ceramics, in a palette of soft blues, greens and fresh botanical tones.

To celebrate the launch, the collection provided the backdrop for a summer evening hosted by Alexandra Mondre. Long tables on the lawn were dressed in Arcadian Floral and layered with Cabana tableware, Maison de Carine flatware and coloured glassware from E&S Imports, while Studio Imbue filled the tables with loose arrangements of summer flowers. The evening was planned by Augusta Cole, with dinner by Acquolina Catering and handwritten details by Laura Lines Calligraphy.
Hannah Bronfman, Lizzie Tisch and Sarah Wetenhall were among the friends who gathered around the table as the evening unfolded — a lovely first outing for a collection created with exactly these sorts of occasions in mind.
