Cabana and Ralph Lauren host an elegant soiree full of festive cheer and Christmas carols to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the launch of their new London City Guide.

Last night, at Ralph Lauren's flagship store in London's Mayfair - fully decked out in festive finery - Martina Mondadori gathered leading decorators, artists, interior gurus and Cabana fans for a joyful evening of Christmas carols and champagne.

This iconic building in the heart of Mayfair, displaying all of the Ralph Lauren Collections, including Ralph Lauren Home, is a Christmas haven; mahogany pannelling and wood fires were offset with a rousing carol singing session led by conductor, composer and former Director of Music at Eton College, Ralph Allwood. Fin Fellowes, Charlotte Rey and Tristan Hoare belted out Ding Dong Meerily on High and We Wish You A Merry Christmas accompanied by a choir, all wearing cheerful Ralph Lauren festive knits. 

The London City Guide details hidden house museums, hotels, antique markets, gardens, bakeries, florists and restaurants, and to celebrate the capital’s charm,  eccentricity and glamour, the space was transformed into a tartan winter wonderland for the evening. Pages from the guide were blown up on the walls, and guests including Martin Brudunizki, David Netto, Saffron Aldridge and Noor Fares,chatting animatedly amongst shelves of cashmere jumpers.

Ashley Hicks played on the bespoke pool table (conveniently situated next to the martini bar), as elsewhere Ralph Lauren Home Christmas candles were personalised for the most covetable present to put under the tree. 'There's no Christmas like a Ralph Lauren Christmas’, Martina exclaimed throughout the night.
