An Exclusive Made-to-Order Collection with Giuseppe Porcelli

Inspired by the layered interiors of Casa Cabana and the enduring legacy of Renzo Mongiardino

Marking the next chapter in the creative relationship between Cabana and Italian designer Giuseppe Porcelli, this exclusive made-to-order collection draws inspiration from the richly layered interiors of Casa Cabana, the brand's Milan headquarters and the childhood home of Founder Martina Mondadori. The collaboration also marks Cabana's first foray into furniture.

The collection comprises a console, coffee table, bar cabinet, and ottoman, alongside a limited edition of Cabana Magazine N26 presented in a specially designed box, produced in an edition of just 30. Each piece has been conceived to sit naturally within Casa Cabana, while expressing Porcelli's distinctive design language.

“I have long admired Giuseppe's rare capacity to blend design rigour with real Italian atmosphere. This collaboration was incredibly spontaneous: born over an aperitivo at Casa Cabana last spring, when he began sketching the first pieces at the table. Casa Cabana is the home I grew up in, the rooms Renzo Mongiardino created for my family and, in many ways, the home that became Cabana: spaces that were never about grandeur, but about soul, atmosphere and layering, which Giuseppe understood instinctively. It is Cabana's first foray into furniture, and it could not be a more apt one.” - Martina Mondadori

Originally designed by the decorator Renzo Mongiardino, Casa Cabana serves as the creative heart of the brand. Rather than reproducing Mongiardino's interiors, Porcelli sought to reinterpret their spirit through proportion, materials and craftsmanship. Every object begins with a detail found within the house: the textures, architectural forms and decorative motifs that define its atmosphere.

The collection reflects Porcelli's signature vocabulary of sculptural forms and refined craftsmanship. Marble mosaic surfaces are paired with polished mahogany, chrome detailing, tortoiseshell-effect plexiglass, bamboo, brass, and silk velvet - materials that have become synonymous with his work. Handmade by Italian artisans, the collaboration celebrates the enduring value of craftsmanship and the beauty of objects designed to be lived with for generations.

Launching during Milan Fashion Week (September 22 - 28), the collection will debut with an intimate celebration at Casa Cabana, hosted by Martina Mondadori and Giuseppe Porcelli, before becoming available exclusively through Cabana on a made-to-order basis.
