The House of a Lifetime: Writer and horticulturalist, Umberto Pasti, has spent a lifetime gathering and curating a truly unique and museum-worthy collection of objects, textiles and art. Umberto's magical, timeless home in Tangier holds a great many of them, each with their own story, and is surrounded by lush, wild gardens. Although he has cultivated these himself, he describes himself not as a gardener, but a "plant collector". "I love plants to be happy together," he says. "I want them to be in a very good mood...I feel the need to live surrounded by happy creatures."
