A Night at the Palazzo

Martina Mondadori and David Lauren host an elegant soiree to celebrate Salone del Mobile 2024, their updated Milan City Guide and Ralph Lauren Home’s latest collection, Modern Driver.

Long-term collaborators, David Lauren and Martina Mondadori, have teamed up again for a collective of style-led activities. First up is the new edition of their sell-out Milan City Guide, which reveals Cabana’s private address book and favorite things to see and do in the vibrant city.

Covered with Ralph Lauren Home’s Barberry Damask fabric, the must-have mini book is being distributed during Salone del Mobile 2024. A must have companion for any visit to Milan, the guide is also available online and at the Cabana store.

During the marquee design fair the duo also headlined an elegant cocktail party at one of the most revered spots in Milan, Palazzo Ralph Lauren. Celebrating the new Modern Driver Home collection, the first of its kind between Ralph Lauren and Haworth Lifestyle Design, the palazzo welcomed leading designers and tastemakers.

Over 400 guests, including designers Flora Soames, Patrick Kinmonth, and Steve Cordony, filled the charming interior courtyard of Ralph Lauren’s famed residence. David Netto, Mimi Thompson, Elisabeth Dessy, Csaba dalla Zorza and Joy Moyler were all dressed in the best from Ralph Lauren Collection and Purple Label.

Live jazz set the scene as classic all-American food was served on silver trays, including mini lobster rolls and salmon and caviar bites. Cocktails including Spiga Spritz and Rosé Royale were in limitless supply, and the margarita bar was kept busy until the bitter end.

The night closed with a lock-in at the bar at Ralph Lauren’s store on Via della Spiga. Martina served the house staple, burgers and fries, to close friends and Cabana and Ralph Lauren colleagues.
