Martina Modadori celebrates the holidays at the Ralph Lauren Holiday Experience with carols, mulled wine and iconic Polo Bar cocktails on Sloane Square. From mid-November until Christmas Eve, The Ralph Lauren Holiday Experience will be taking over Sloane Square, in the heart of London, with aplomb. The cosy barn in the centre of the square, adorned with pine trees, berries and Ralph Lauren Home furnishings, will continue to host a variety of activities throughout the mountain-inspired installation, including wreath-making, cookie decorating and a visiting Father Christmas. Ten percent of proceeds from all these activities will benefit The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

The evening celebrated a limited-edition of Cabana’s London City Guide, in partnership with Ralph Lauren Home; this season boasting Ralph Lauren Home’s Market Street Plaid and Saddle Blanket fabrics. There are now four in the collection of the cult mini books: London, Milan, New York and Paris. The limited-edition London guide is exclusively available at The Ralph Lauren Holiday Experience on Sloane Square, with all proceeds benefiting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Guests included fans of both brands, such as four-legged friend Paco, owned by Isabel Mascarenas, Gianluca Longo, Tania Fares, Celia Weinstock and Tristan Hoare. The merry gang belted out carols with gusto, including festive favouritesDing Dong Merrily on High and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, led by celebrated British musician, composer, and choir director Gareth Malone. Signature Ralph Lauren cocktails were served alongside mini burgers, a playful nod to The Polo Bar Ralph Lauren, coming soon to London.

This issue will transport you across countries and continents where craft and culture converge. Evocative travel portfolios reveal Japan's elegant restraint, Peru's sacred churches ablaze with color, and striking architecture in a fading Addis Ababa. Inspiring minds from the late Giorgio Armani to Nikolai von Bismarck spark curiosity, while exclusive homes—from the dazzling Burghley House in England and an Anglo-Italian dream in Milan, to a Dionysian retreat in Patmos and a historic Pennsylvania farmhouse—become portals that recall, evoke and transport.
