As summer in the Hamptons begins to wane and thoughts slowly turn back to the pace of city life, Trish Pound Westcoat and I gathered an intimate group of friends from art, fashion and media at the home of Andrew Rosen to celebrate TWP’s Fall collection.
We wanted the afternoon to capture that particular feeling of late summer out East, when the gardens are at their wildest, the farm stands are overflowing and no one is quite ready to leave. TWP’s Fall campaign had been photographed on the property, so it felt natural to bring that world to life again with friends.

Guests wandered through the wildflower garden and meadows, cold drinks in hand, before arriving beneath a canopy of trees and a verdant patch of lawn. Chef Chris Kronner and his team from MayDay, together with Missi Flowers, set farm tables with an abundant spread of crudités from Halal Pastures and Amber Waves with the greenest goddess dip, pluots with salted plum, pistachios and Aleppo chile, and the freshest local oysters.
Ranch Waters, Palomas and herbaceous drinks were passed as everyone mingled in looks from the collection. Navy, cream and earthy tones, fringed leather and TWP’s signature poplin boyfriend shirts, each worn in a way that felt entirely personal.
Mona Esser offered energy and numerology readings while a gypsy jazz band, with guitars and standing bass, played American oldies, lending the afternoon the feeling of a slower, more nostalgic era.

We sat for lunch beneath the trees and market umbrellas, with farm tables arranged together to keep things intimate and easy. Platters were passed family style: summer lettuces and tomatoes, grilled Montauk striped trout with citrus and fennel, coal roasted meats and vegetables, and elevated versions of American summer classics like potato salad and coleslaw. Peach crostata and buttermilk ice cream finished the meal as the late summer sun filtered through the trees.
It was one of those afternoons that felt both effortless and considered: beautiful clothes, the season’s harvest, friends gathered together, a little American nostalgia and a few lingering hours of summer before returning to the city. A kind of elevated American ease, and a lovely way to bring the TWP Fall collection to life.
