Kristina Blahnik and Mytheresa whisked guests, including Lawrence Van Hagen, Olivia Neill and Carmen Mundt, to Château Saint Maur in Saint Tropez for a sun-soaked celebration of the Mytheresa X Manolo Blahnik capsule collection, inspired by the French Riviera.

The first night of the festivities were held in the picturesque vineyards at Château Saint Maur. Cocktails by the pool set the scene, as Tish Weinstock and Diana Bartlett showcased the beautiful designs, full of Grace Kelly-style charm and retro glamour; Alfred Hitchcock’s infamous thriller To Catch a Thief was filmed along the Riviera.

Original sketches and moodboards by Manolo Blahnik were displayed on the terrace, with dinner starting at sunset. Local lobster was served followed by wild seabass and vegetables from the garden, while dessert was an elaborate vanilla flower with caramel, served with the best vintage wine from Côtes de Provence.

The Italian artist Barbara Calzolari brought the collection to life: the table was adorned with a hand-decorated tablecloth featuring whimsical and playful French expressions, personal quotes from Kristina Blahnik, and illustrations inspired by the surroundings of Château Saint-Maur and the Côte d’Azur.

Each guest’s name was carefully hand-painted on site by Barbara, who also handpainted one-of-a-kind Manolo Blahnik travel wallets, presented at the end of the magical evening.

After a slow start the following day, lunch was presented at LouLou Ramatuelle on Pampelonne beach. Attendees feasted on Mediterranean delights including house classics such as sea bass carpaccio, fried calamari, endless buffalo mozzarella followed by classic linguine and the catch of the day. Each received a personalised fan, hand-painted with their name, as another treasured memory.
