Cabana and Caraluna came together in Sardinia last week for a special collaboration celebrating craftsmanship and the timeless charm of handmade objects.
At its heart was Teresa Maccapani Missoni’s newly curated collection of vintage treasures for the beloved Caraluna Boutique, inspired by Sardinian craft traditions and the emotional value of objects forgotten and rediscovered over time.
The collection was first unveiled at Casa Cabana in Milan on May 21, then celebrated in early June at Due Lune Puntaldia Resort & Golf in Puntaldia. The weekend reunited an international circle of friends, journalists, creatives, and longtime collaborators of both houses, all welcomed with warmth, ease, and Mediterranean spirit.
It all began on Friday with cocktails on the patio, while a few members of the press discovered the property: its golf course, sea-facing corners, gardens and pathways. By dinner, everyone had gathered for a seaside-casual barbecue, where the evening found its rhythm: easy conversation, the sound of the water, as if summer was arriving a little early this year.
Saturday was slow, with guests wandering between breakfast, tennis, golf and quiet explorations of Puntaldia. Some lingered over lunch with a view of Tavolara, while others explored the island’s wild surroundings.

As evening arrived, everyone reconvened at Caraluna Boutique for cocktails and music, drifting through vintage treasures, Cabana’s latest objects and editions, and the guilty pleasure of holiday shopping. From there, the night moved into the gardens, where a long festive table had been laid beneath the Sardinian sky.
Scattered with Teresa Maccapani Missoni’s terracotta vases, fresh greenery and painted paper flowers, the table added a note of handmade poetry to the evening. Rooted by the generosity of the Mediterranean coast, dinner moved softly from golden hour into night, with bronze-drawn spaghetti, pecorino and pompia velouté, clams and scampi, followed by freshly caught tuna tataki and a seven-layer chocolate gâteau - a final indulgence as layered as the evening itself.

As the candles burned lower, guests moved from dinner to the bar, where the DJ drew everyone together; Savannah Engel danced with Ann Binlot from W Magazine, Princess Isabella Gaetani von Lobkowicz and Francesca Mapelli joined the music, while Christoph Radl and Angela Missoni conversed on the bar terrace.
The evening slipped into something warmer than a party – friends dancing on vacation, loosened by sea breeze and the pleasure of being together.
On Sunday, after breakfast, the weekend concluded with a transfer to Villa Giò in Capriccioli, one of Costa Smeralda’s first pied dans l’eau villas. Hosted by Mrs. Alessandra Fumagalli, brunch unfolded by the private beach for one last swim: a final, sunlit scene before everyone departed.
