My Favorite Place to Stay: Bellhop

This effortlessly cool 12-room boutique hotel became my second home in Tbilisi this summer. Opened by four creative friends, Bellhop occupies a beautifully restored century-old building in Chugureti, an up-and-coming neighbourhood across the river. Filled with natural light, it offers an intimate, thoughtfully curated stay with a calm modern aesthetic. Downstairs, Brød serves Nordic flavours with a Georgian twist, and there is a basement listening space as well which opens on the weekends.

Just next door, the Brød bakery recently opened, and there is soon to be a cute concept store down the road. Best of all though: Bellhop’s warm staff and owners. Chugureti is close to Fabrika, lots of great restaurants including Palmebi and Honore, and iconic nightlife venues such as Left Bank and Bassiani.

My Favorite Restaurant: Littera

It has to be Littera, especially on a sunny day. Set in the former Writers’ House of Georgia, Tekuna Gachechiladze’s restaurant boasts one of the city’s prettiest courtyards and an elegant, creative take on modern Georgian cuisine, paired with local natural wines. It’s a truly special experience.

Other favorites include Ninia’s Garden, for its enchanting garden and Georgian menu with a French twist, and Keto & Kote in Vera, housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century wooden mansion, offering refined Georgian classics in a magical setting.
