GREEN RIVER PROJECT with BODE

Ben Bloomstein and Aaron Aujla run Green River Project, their furniture and design practice, and Emily Adams Bode Aujla runs Bode, her fashion brand. However, the three are friends, partners and symbiotic creative collaborators. They share a reverence for materiality, the preservation of craft, a love of historical narratives, a fascination with domestic spaces, and a belief in the importance of research. Together, they create not just furniture or clothing but immersive and emotive worlds, sometimes within a retail space and sometimes within a single garment. Some artists shed their pasts, but these three are sustained by personal histories, their own and those of others, and build upon them.
