LONDON CRAFT WEEK 2025

London Craft Week returns for it's biggest edition yet. With over 1000 creatives—ranging from established to emerging makers—the festival promises to be a celebration of British and international craft and creativity. As London transforms into a city-wide stage for talks, workshops, and exhibitions, Cabana is proud to support The Sloane Street SeriesThe Art of Craftsmanship. Throughout the week, leading brands on Sloane Street will invite guests to experience and celebrate the artistic heritage of Chelsea. 

On 13 May, Cabana will host a talk on craft and performance - with four-time Oscar winning costume and set designer, Catherine Martin - as part of the Victoria & Albert Museum's Craft Symposium. Read more and book tickets.

Spring is Blooming at Rockefeller Center

This May, Rockefeller Center will burst into bloom courtesy of Van Cleef & Arpels and French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. The artist's large-scale designs will transform the Channel Gardens and Summer Rink with vivid color, echoing the spirit of spring with immersive installations, floral fantasies, and a nod to bucolic French landscapes.

With weekend programming including dance, poetry, storytelling, masterclasses and more, Spring is Blooming is a tribute to the wonders of nature, inviting New Yorkers and visitors alike to welcome spring at one of the world's most iconic landmarks.

Dance Weekends as part of 'Spring is Blooming at Rockefeller Center'

Van Cleef & Arpels' Dance Reflections—a global initiative launched in 2020 to support and celebrate contemporary dance—continues its dedication to the art of dance with a series of performances in partnership with the Guggenheim New York and The Watermill Center, happening this May.

As part of Spring is Blooming at Rockefeller Center, the program features Benjamin Millepied’s 'A Dance for Two', and Cassiel Gaube’s 'Soirée d’études', a blend of innovative choreography with diverse dance styles in outdoor spaces. The event also marks the launch of the Dance Reflections Fellowship, further testifying to Van Cleef & Arpels' commitment to contemporary dance in the U.S.

Through May 5, Hampton Court Palace will be awash with colour as over 100,000 tulips burst into bloom for the return of the beloved Tulip Festival. A rare and romantic encounter between antiquity and nature, Charles Ede gallery presents a Spring selling exhibition of ancient Roman glass—over 60 hand-blown vessels from the 1st–4th centuries—curated and arranged with seasonal flowers by acclaimed floral designer, Shane Connolly. Ancient India: Living Traditions

Spanning more than two millennia, Ancient India: living traditions traces the visual evolution of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism from ancient nature spirits to iconic human forms. From symbolic beginnings to sacred icons, this immersive exhibition journeys through thousands of years of Indian devotional art, bringing together over 180 objects, including sculptures, paintings and manuscripts, to reveal the vibrant spiritual legacies still practiced by billions today.

From abstract stone forms in the gardens to the iconic Akari glowing paper lanterns suspended in the Atrium, this exhibition traces the genius of American-Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988), one of the 20th century’s most original sculptors. Marking a milestone year for the Noguchi Foundation, celebrating its 40th-anniversary, the Rijksmuseum presents over fifty works—sculpture, ceramics, design—in a tribute to an artist whose vision bridged East and West, gravity and play.

The historic gardens and interiors of Gainsborough's House will play host to a poetic dialogue between sculpture and landscape — Helaine Blumenfeld: Tree of Life brings together the ethereal bronze and marble works of one of Britain’s most distinguished sculptors working today, Helaine Blumenfeld OBE, in conversation with the dreamlike sensibility of Thomas Gainsborough. In this rare outdoor display, Blumenfeld’s flowing forms echo the natural rhythms of the garden, exploring spiritual connection, human resilience, and the enduring bond between nature and art.

Masterpieces from Kenwood: The Splendour of British & French Painting

Shown alongside Helaine Blumenfeld: Tree of Life, Masterpieces from Kenwood: The Splendour of British & French Painting is a collaboration with English Heritage, showcasing nearly 30 glorious works from the esteemed Iveagh Bequest at Kenwood House, bringing with them the grace and grandeur of the 18th century.

From the delicate beauty of Boucher’s Rococo reveries to Gainsborough’s radiant Mary, Countess Howe, this exhibition places the artist in exquisite company—among his British and French contemporaries, and within the poetic setting of his childhood home.

UMAN. A FANTASTIC WOMAN is Somali-born artist Uman's second exhibit with Hauser & Wirth—presented in partnership with Nicola Vassell Gallery, New York—and her first ever exhibition in Switzerland. Working between the physical and the spiritual, her richly pigmented paintings and works on paper combine intuitive gestures, abstraction, and meditative patterning. Drawing on nature, memories of her East African childhood, and mysticism, Uman transforms Hauser & Wirth's Zürich gallery into a vivid, immersive universe—complete with suspended works and a site-specific mural.
